Because apparently I’m between 5 and 12 years old. O_o

From the box it looks better than those Mustangs, Audis, Chevys and God knows what else Lego have been churning out recently. It reminds me of rally Renault 5 or a Metro. Also, it was half the price of those licensed sets. Yay!

I bought a Ting once. It was pretty tasty.

I took my boys to the Lego Store a couple of weeks ago. They each got a big set, and this one I bought for myself. Now I need the Octan Baja racer to go with my Octan LMP car and Grand Prix transporter sets. That rally car was a fun little build.

Some of the sets of actual cars look kinda a little awkward.

It’s like a perfect amalgam of all the Group B cars, all in a cute homage. I want one.

My 5-year-old has it. I almost cried when he "parted it out" to build other stuff. PIRATE SHIPS DO NOT NEED RALLY LIGHTS, SON!

“Some” “a little awkward”

I’d say that’s not more like “most” and “a lot awkward”

Damn kids, don’t even know that pirate ships don’t come with rally lights. :(

They could have done just as well and made them a few studs bigger and done so much of a better job.

I bought that a few weeks or so ago and proudly posted about it here, too. Welcome to the club! It’s a fun little car. I really enjoy that you can adjust the rear wing a lot. Have fun playing with Lego Tanner Foust!

i like this mostly because it looks like they got the proportions (or aspect ratio really) of it just right. Some of the licensed ones (i’m looking at you audi e-tron) seem like they need to be a bit wider.

I respectfully disagree. Everything is better with rally lights.
